My son Adam.He was perfect.Born on the 16th April,1999.We were all so happy to meet him.His big sister (who was 3 when he was born),was so excited.We were the perfect little family,I honestly didn't think anyone could be that happy,and I don't think I will ever be that happy again. On the morning of 25th November 1999,I was up early,ready for work.I was getting Adams rusk and bottle ready,and asked my husband to go and get him up.He was taking ages.His breakfast was ready.I waited.And waited.And waited.Then I realised it was taking too long.I dropped the bowl and ran to the stairs,to find my husband sat at the top,head in hands.And I knew.I leapt up the stairs in 2 steps,looked in the cot,and saw my boy had gone.I ran back down,grabbed the phone,rang 999,and then started CPR-to no avail.The paramedics arrived and tried hard,even though it was obvious Adam had gone.The doctor arrived and confirmed it.Our lives had changed forever.Adam was gone.He was 7 and a half months old.
